Standard parental control apps have a fatal flaw: your child can see them, disable them, or factory reset the device to remove them. XeraX operates at a deeper level that bypasses these workarounds.
Why Kids Bypass Standard Parental Apps
Apps like Google Family Link, Bark, and Circle appear in the app list and in settings. A tech-savvy teenager can disable them via developer options, revoke their permissions, or simply factory reset and refuse to re-enable them. Some kids find tutorials on YouTube specifically for bypassing parental controls.
How XeraX Is Different
XeraX runs as a background Termux process with no icon and no visible settings entry. It survives factory resets if installed with root. Even without root, it's reinstalled automatically after a Termux:Boot reboot sequence. Your child would need to know to look for running Termux processes — something almost no teenager does.

Legal and Ethical Considerations
As a parent or legal guardian, you generally have the right to monitor your minor child's device in most jurisdictions. However, requirements vary — some states and countries require you to inform the child that monitoring is in place, even if you don't disclose the method. We strongly recommend consulting a lawyer in your jurisdiction. XeraX is intended only for legal, consensual use.
